Hello lovely weekend! This week has been a bit chilly in Brissy, with temps ranging from 9C at night to 23C max during the day.
It’s a bit colder than normal in May and I’m hoping we have a super freezing winter as we’re heading down to Melbourne to see my parents in a few months, so the ski fields should be full of snow *fingers crossed!*

It’s been a busy but exciting week over here. Kids are in full swing back at school with homework every afternoon, hubby out working odd hours and myself, trying to keep up with mum chores.
I forgot to mention in last weeks post, we’ve had 2 baby guinea pigs go to heaven……..and our cat, Pebbles was in our bad books for sending them there. BAD BAD KITTY!
It’s been devastating for the kids to lose 2 babies but it was a good experience to talk about cats in the wild and how it’s in their nature to hunt. Pebbles has caught about 3 rats now, endless amounts of grasshoppers and also a snake! They are things we praise her for and I’m sure that a guinea pig, being part of the rodent family smells just as good as a rat – to her.

This week I made some bread and it actually worked! Last week I made a brick loaf and it was terrible but this week, I have photo evidence of the bread!
(yes that is Big Ted sitting on my stove – for all my Aussie friends who love the show Playschool)
That’s all from me this weekend – it’s cooler today so the kids are snuggling on the lounge watching Deadly 60. DD loves that show, she’s such an animal and nature lover!

Aren’t they just soooo sweet! We are all quite excited and I just love looking out the back, when I’m washing up dishes and sneak a peek as one of all 4 of the babies scurry across the back yard…..but stay quite close to their mummy or close to their cage.

I was hoping that we’d have some new gorgeous little guinea pig baby photos to show you this weekend but they’re still incubating in Mrs Guinea Pig’s tummy.
She’s really wide now, especially if you look at her from above, here’s a photo I took yesterday.

Angelclaud’s Art Room has released some desktop templates this week. You can now use these templates to create beautiful images for your desktop home computer, or you could send them to your relatives and they could look at your gorgeous face every time they power on their computer. The templates have 4 months in them, contain shadowed and non shadowed templates, are in .psd .tiff .page .png file types for lots of different digi scrapbooking program utilisation. Also, if you look at the image – Angela has created 5 different screen monitor resolution sizes, for the most popular screens out there.
